Haiti - Politic : New road infrastructure in Mahotière 75 (Carrefour) 29/01/2014 10:58:32
As part of the implementation of Communal Fund of the fiscal year 2011-2012, the Commune of Carrefour, more particularly in Mahotière 75, was completely rehabilitated in road infrastructure, allowing its inhabitants to enjoy better traffic conditions. According to the Mayor of this city, Mr. Jude Edouard Pierre, the work done Mahotière 75, is an important step towards the development of the town, which is now witnessing of a significant increase in its tax revenue. Recalling that since the completion of this work, the city of Carrefour records on a regular basis, new small traders of Mahotière, who want to be in good standing with the DGI; an increase in the property values of homes in the area, the recovery of the nightlife, etc... Applauding the initiative of the Government, the Mayor of Carrefour, Jude Edouard and the Deputy Elie Blaise, have expressed concern about the development of this commune and promised to file as soon as possible, the new project for 2012-2013, to the benefit of this commune thirst for change. Recall that for two years under the vision of President Martelly, to provide the communes, of tools necessary for their development, the town of Carrefour (west of Port-au-Prince), with a population of about half a million people, benefits from many infrastructure to facilitate economic development.
