Haiti - Social : Prime Minister met the inhabitants of Boucan Carré

The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, accompanied by a large government delegation visited last Friday, on the eve of the 7th output of "Gouvènman an Lakay ou" program, the population of the most vulnerable neighborhoods of Boucan Carré, located in the Central Department.

Laurent Lamothe, that makes the preferential option for the poor a priority for his government, met with the inhabitants of Boucan Carré to inquire personally of their fundamental needs : electricity, drinking water, equipment and logistics equipment for the Police Station of the commune, as well as the construction of the section of road between Boucan Carré et Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite.

Animated with the will to continue to work to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable, the Head of Government, in the presence of Deputy Abel Descollines (Mirbalais/Boucan Carré) and the acting executive agent Max Millien, had a little chat with an old lady of the zone, Miracia Dieudonné, bedridden and aged 90.

Visibly upset by the low vision and the precariousness of the immediate environment of the elderly people, adjustable glasses, adjusted by the Prime Minister himself, were handed over to the Dean of Boucan Carré, which was also supported by the "Kore ti granmoun" social program.

At the end of the visit, on the instructions of the Prime Minister, three of the most precarious houses in the area will benefit from the support of "Ranje Kay Katye" program and will also be supplied with electricity by a solar panel system.
