Haiti - Education : The National High School of Mont-Organisé, ready for back to school

The Office of Communication of the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation, informs that the National High School of Mont-Organisé (Northeast) is ready for the new school year (September 8).

This new high school includes among other 18 classrooms, a computer room, two rooms for office and playing field. This school infrastructure is able to accommodate 800 students in the commune of Mont-Organisé and its surroundings.

Local elected officials and the people of the commune commended the Head of Government for its commitment to build this high school.

Furthermore, the Government to increase the offer in schools and create better learning conditions for young Haitians, will inaugurate on the margins of the new school year, 27 new high schools brand new, meeting the strictest building codes.

Remember that a little over 5% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Haiti are allocated to the education system for the fiscal year 2014-2015. For its part, the Office of Monetization of Programs of Development Assistance (BMPAD) is constructing a hundred high schools across the 10 departments of country.
