Haiti - Politic : Things are moving positively to the ONA

On Friday, the Office of National Old Age Insurance (ONA) celebrated its 49th anniversary by launching its brand new auditorium with a capacity of 500 seats. The opportunity for Emmanuel Ménard the new Director-General of ONA, in office for five months to present the progress made in terms of contributions, 161 million gourdes for the 2013-2014 fiscal year, promising to make profitable the institution . He also indicated that "INFONA" an information service by internet (ona@ona.ht) was established. In terms of perspectives for 2015, he announced the computerization of the ONA and the construction of a retirement home for the insured "MAISONA." Finally, he informed that from January 2015 it will take no more than two days for the insured ONA, so that be granted to them loans on contribution. TB/ HaitiLibre
