Haiti - Climate : Flooding in South, assessment at least 8 dead

A humid zone and unstable continuous to influence the South of Haiti and could still generate downpours and storms isolated on certain departments today. At least eight people have died this week in the south of Haiti because of heavy rains that have battered the region of the country, announced on Friday Civil Protection "Three people were swept away by swollen rivers in southern, two adults and one girl were also buried in a landslide in other localities in the south and two other people also died in the department of Nippes flooded", said the Direction of Civil protection, which states that Poor communications and blocked roads do not allow to establish a definitive assessment.
