Haiti - Quebec : 20 Haitian executives get their Master of ENAP

Tuesday at the Hotel Karibe Convention Center has taken place the graduation ceremony for 20 executives and Haitian officials, graduated at mastery of the National School of Public Administration (ENAP) of Quebec.

The ceremony, chaired by Prime Minister Evans Paul, was attended by cabinet ministers, representatives of the diplomatic corps, including the Ambassador of Canada in Haiti, Paula Caldwell St-Onge, representatives of the international and regional cooperation, of Directors General of the Haitian Public Service, representatives of international cooperation, senior executives and state officials, parents and friends of the recipients, as well as other distinguished guests.

Graduates of the second class "Leslie Saint-Roc François Manigat", from ministries and decentralized agencies of the State, have successfully completed a training cycle of two and a half years. They received their parchment from the hands of André Bourret vice rector for Academic Affairs of ENAP of Quebec and of Head of Government.

In his remarks for the occasion, Prime Minister Paul emphasized the fruitful partnership between Quebec, Canada and Haiti, through the Support Project to Strengthen Public Management in Haiti (PARGEP), which made possible this Masters program in Public Administration "This line of cooperation addresses the need of the Haitian state to equip its public administration, of executivesand of high-level officials. The need for training is one of the axes of the Framework Program of the Reform of the State (PCRE) 2012-2017 which aims to promote the development and enhancement of public service human resources. In this regard, I must emphasize that the National School of Administration and Public Policies (ENAPP) of Haiti still needs the support of her older sister, ENAP of Quebec to grow and develop until it becomes the reference school we call of all our wishes.

It is necessary to emphasize that this new promotion brings to 38 the number of executives and Haitian officials holders of a Masters in Public Administration of ENAP of Quebec (trained in Haiti). Note that a new class of 20 students, including 10 women, started last September at the premises of the ENAPP of Haiti.
