Haiti - FLASH : Presidency denies rumors of looting...

Monday in a note, Jean Renel Sanon, the Secretary General of the Presidency categorically denied the rumors of looting allegedly carried out at the National Palace "These thieves who are there in wait, will not be able to repeat their coup as in the past. The property of the Republic will remain intact," indicating "An inventory of the National Palace movables will be initiated by the Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes from Wednesday, February 10, 2016."

Furthermore it calls on "all those who are in possession of the National Palace property (vehicles, firearms or other), without title or quality, to bring back them within 24 hours at the Administration of the National Palace. Fault by them to comply with this request, the judicial system will be requested to compel them to do it."
