The National Identification Office (ONI), with technical support from the Organization of American States (OAS) and the financial support of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), informs the general public and especially potential voters that the campaign of distribution of National Identity Cards (CIN) continues in the 10 departments of the country this Friday 26 and Saturday, November 27, 2010, until the end of the day.

Consequently, the ONI encourages all voters who have not yet withdrawn their card, to do it in all the offices of the ONI.

The National Identification Office reminds the public that under the electoral law, only people who have made their new registrations before September 28, 2010, may vote. People who have made their demand after September 28, 2010 will receive their CIN at a later date, this date will be communicated to the public by the ONI

The people who presented themselves to an office of the ONI to make their request for reprinting before October 28th, 2010, will be able to also withdraw their card.
