Haiti - Politic : «We are no longer in the days of the dictatorship» dixit Gary Bodeau

"I describe as unacceptable the curfew of the Government to restrict individual freedoms. I ask the population to freely go about their business. We are no longer in the days of the dictatorship," declared Gary Bodeau, Deputy of Delmas, following the decision of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN) to ban all movement of people and vehicles other than those assigned to the service of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and ambulances last evening from 10 pm until 5 am this morning.

The Primature informed that this measure was taken "due to relevant information relating to the large-scale planning of acts against the life and property of the population, especially in the metropolitan area."

This measure is added to the suspension of weapon carry permit https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17702-haiti-flash-national-alert-for-the-pnh.html decision dated June 9.
