Aviol Fleurant, the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE) this week has proceeded to the installation of Me Stevenson Jacques Thimoléon, former deputy of Petit-Goâve, defeated in the last elections under the banner of PHTK https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-15725-icihaiti-petit-goave-the-new-deputy-germain-fils-open-to-all-calls-to-unity.html as new Director General of the Ministry. He replaces the outgoing Director Magaly B.C. Bien-Aimé.

Minister Fleurant said he relies on the rigor of magistrate of the new Director to consolidate public finances in order to optimize the sound management of State resources.

For his part, Thimoléon, after the thanks of usages, said to measure the extent of the challenges that await him at a time when all the indicators of growth are in red. He assured that under his leadership "the Ministry will fully play its role in realizing the campaign promises of the Head of State and the realization of the Prime Minister's commitments."

He committed to ensuring sound and transparent management, base on which will rest the understanding and confidence of domestic and foreign investors as well as technical and financial partners.
