The passage of the 14th tropical wave of the season, will continue to influence the meteorological situation in Haiti this weekend. Rains could cause flooding and landslides in both urban and rural areas. In anticipation, the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) of the Ministry of Interior call on the population to be more cautious.

The DPC calls on people in high-risk areas, especially those living near rivers and gullies, to exercise caution and to take all necessary precautions against possible sudden flash floods and flooding.
