Former President of the Youth Government of Haiti (GJH) Amos Cincir, Special Representative in charge of the Office of Youth United Nations of Africa in Haiti, has learned with dismay the murder of David Douglas aka "Douglas Voice" student in management of tourism businesses at Quisqueya University (UNIQ).

David Douglas, 24, died in the evening of Monday, July 3, 2017, in Bizoton (commune of Carrefour) after receiving several mortal stab wounds from an unidentified individual in the public square of Fontamara.

Faced with this new tragedy, the Office of Youth United Nations of Africa in Haiti, urges the police and judicial authorities to carry out an investigation to identify and condemn the perpetrator and accomplices of this assassination, in accordance with the law.

The Office of Youth United Nations of Africa in Haiti presents his sympathies to the family of David Douglas, his relatives, friends and collaborators and to the Haitian society in general that this mourning afflicts.
