Haiti - DR : The Dominican Army deploys its defense logistics along the border

The Dominican Minister of Defense, Lieutenant-General Rubén Darío Paulino Sem, announced that the Armed Forces is deploying defense and security logistics along the border between the two countries. The army is increasing the effectiveness of its military at checkpoints and other sensitive areas nearby, in order to be able to face any situation that could affect the Dominican Republic before and after the departure of the Minustah next October. Among the devices put in place he mentioned of new surveillance cameras were installed at the most strategic control points without specifying the other technologies involved [including drones and infrared systems...]
