Heads of several technical directorates of the Ministry of National Education, representatives of the French Development Agency (AFD) and the support team of the project "New Citizenship Education Looking to the Future" (NECTAR) met under the chairmanship Cénatus Peter, the education cluster coordinator and quality of the Ministry, around the launch of the first operations of NECTAR project, its implementing rules and its various components.

Supported by French cooperation up to 8 million euros over 5 years https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21392-haiti-france-8-million-euros-to-support-the-3rd-af-and-the-new-secondary.html , NECTAR is a new project of the Ministry aimed at improving the quality of basic education in the 3rd cycle of basic and secondary education and must accompany the curriculum reform, the start of school programs and the implementation of the New secondary.

The Project consists of three components :

• Support for the deployment of the renovated 3rd cycle, integrated into complete fundamental schools ;

• Accompanying the implementation of the New Secondary;

• Assistance to project management and support for piloting reforms and project management.
