Haiti - Diaspora : Call for artistic contribution of the Embassy of Haiti in Washington D.C.

The Embassy of Haiti in Washington D.C. presents its compliments to the Haitian community and launches a call for contributions to organize an exhibition of artistic works of the diaspora. The exhibition, which will begin in June 2019, will take place in the Embassy premises and will last 6 months.

ubmission Criteria :

The artist will have to submit, for evaluation, high-resolution photos (300 dpi at least) of the works he would like to exhibit;

Artists :

Artists must be of Haitian origin or nationality;

Quantity :

Each artist can submit a dozen works;

Theme :

All themes will be accepted;

Dimensions :

Rooms must be two-dimensional (three-dimensional rooms or facilities will not be considered). All media are allowed. Works can not exceed 48 "X 72" (approximately 120cm x 185cm)

All works will be evaluated by a panel of artists and art connoisseurs, unfinished works will not be evaluated.

Deadline for submission May 3, 2019 :

Artists are asked to submit, with the photo of their works, a short biography and a photo ID.

The works selected for the exhibition will be presented in a brochure. The latter will also be virtual and published on the website of the Embassy of Haiti in the United States.
