The World Bank, the French Development Agency and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) are the main financial partners for this US $ 33.5 million project, which covers 19 hectares of land.

"This litigation only adds to the problems of the inhabitants of the municipalities concerned, which until now have barely managed to manage even domestic waste. In Cap-Haïtien, despite the protests of residents in the communal section of Petite-Anse, the mangrove is transformed wild dump, which not only threatens the health of the population, but also weakens the area in the rainy season," says Esaïe Lefranc .
