Haiti - Health : Shortage of disinfectant solutions, the Pharmacists Association proposes

Due to the shortage of hydroalcoholic gel and other disinfectant solutions caused by the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic in Haiti and in order to help health institutions better respond to this health crisis, the association of Pharmacists of Haiti (APH) wants to proposes for free the expertise of its members to public or private health institutions wishing to produce non-profit hydro-alcoholic gel and other disinfectant solutions as long as they can acquire the raw materials and materials necessary for this production.

It should be noted that the products will be prepared in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).

The APH would like to emphasize that hydro-alcoholic gel and other disinfectant solutions should not replace conventional hand washing with soap and water.
