Haiti - NOTICE : The BRH will intervene in the market to the tune of 150 million dollars

In order to strengthen the supply of dollars and support our national currency (121.1593 Gourdes for the purchase of one US dollar on August 7, 2020), Jean Baden Dubois, the Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) announces that the Central Bank will intervene to the tune of 150 million dollars on the foreign exchange market. NOTICE of the BRH : "As part of the strengthening of the supply of dollars on the foreign exchange market, the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) announces interventions up to an amount of one hundred and fifty million US dollars & 00/100 (150,000,000.00 EU) over the remainder of the 2019-2020 fiscal year. These interventions will be carried out on a weekly basis as of August 10, 2020." HL/ HaitiLibre
