Haiti - Education : Support for private schools, transfers have started (list)

Thus, after the establishment of procedures and mechanisms for the disbursement of funds delayed by license and Tax Identification Number (TIN) problems, schools began to receive their funds in several departments, confirmed the Minister of Education Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet.

The Minister explained that the delays were mainly caused by the NIF of school principals which had not been validated also, he invites all the Directors concerned to validate their NIF to avoid this problem, the main blocking factor in this file. While asking for the understanding of the beneficiaries for the delay in the transmission of funds, the Minister Cadet affirms that the necessary will be done as promised...

In the interests of transparency for the general public and the educational community, the Ministry has made public a partial list of schools in several departments as well as the amount of funds collected.
