Haiti - FLASH : Sunrise Airways puts a plane «in extremis» in service Port-au-Prince / Cap-Haitien

In a press release the management of the Haitian airline Sunrise Airways apologizes to its customers for the last minute schedule changes that have occurred in recent days to be able to adapt to the events that the country has been going through since the tragic death by President Jovenel Moïse.

Sunrise informs "We managed in extremis to put in service from tomorrow Thursday, July 22, one of our regional transport aircraft of 48 seats on the route Port au Prince / Cap Haitien in order to establish a shuttle for all those who wish to go to the national funeral of the President of the Republic.

The Dominican Republic has agreed to resume flights, so we will be able to resume our usual schedule this Friday, July 23rd. We hope you will be lenient with us as these numerous disruptions are beyond our control [...] We thank you for your patience and your understanding of the exceptional situation we are experiencing."
