Haiti - NOTICE : «Kiskey'Art» project, call for proposals (grants)

The Knowledge and Freedom Foundation (FOKAL) one of the best known and most active Haitian institutions in terms of programming activities dedicated to supporting Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the theme of culture and youth and Azueï the Civil Society Organization (CSO) cultural reference on binational issues between Haiti and the Dominican Republic, launch via the Project "Kiskey'Art Project" a call for proposals.

FOKAL and Azueï have received funding from the European Union under the binational cooperation program "Viv Ansanm / Convivencia" to implement the project. With this in mind, priority will be given to creations and productions of a socio-cultural, experimental and inclusive nature or to training activities and/or sharing of artistic and cultural initiatives, exchanges and technical and creative support.

The general objective of the "Kiskey'Art" Project is to strengthen relations between the Dominican Republic and Haiti through art and culture.

Call for proposals :

FOKAL and Azueï are launching this call for proposals with a view to granting funding to third parties (Cultural CSOs). 3 to 5 projects will be selected for the maximum sum of:

US$11,400 for a national project ;

22,800 US dollars for a bi-national project.

In addition to the granting of funding, specific training will be put in place to strengthen organizations in project management, but also in conflict management through art, the creation and maintenance of a binational network. cultural.

Duration of the project :

Activities should start no later than July 1st, 2022. A financial and narrative (interim) report must be submitted no later than November 30, 2022 and the final financial and narrative report no later than April 30, 2023.

Project Location :

The "Kiskey'Art" Project promotes projects that take place in Haiti and/or the Dominican Republic.

Application and submission procedure :

To respond to this call for proposals, the candidate must complete the online form and upload all the required supporting documents. You will receive an email, as acknowledgment of receipt with the copy of your request and a code representing your submission. Submissions can be made in : French, Spanish and Creole.

Important : Applications by email or dropped off at the project office will not be accepted.

Dates to remember :

The deadline for online submission is Thursday April 24, 2022 at 4:00 pm. After this date, the link for calls for proposals will be deactivated.

From June 1st, 2022, the Kiskey'Art project will notify, by email, the managers (contact person) of the projects submitted.
