Haiti - Culture : Success of the pavilion of Haiti at the Universal Expo in Dubai (Videos)

A Haitian delegation composed of Ministers Jean Victor Généus (Foreign Affairs), Ricardin Saint-Jean (Trade and Industry), Ms. Emmelie Prophète Milcé (Culture), Ms. Luz Kurta Cassandra François (Tourism) as well as Samuel H. Saturné, Chief of Staff of Prime Minister ai Ariel Henry and several Haitian businessmen, participated Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in Dubai, at the official opening of the "National Day of Haiti", as part of the Dubai World Expo 2020, at the United Arab Emirates (October 1st, 2021 to March 31, 2022).

Note that the Universal Exhibition scheduled for 2020 had been postponed to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Recall that Haiti has a pavilion at this Universal Exhibition, since October 1st, 2021, the date of the opening of this huge international fair devoted to technological, commercial, tourist and cultural exchanges where Haiti, alongside 192 other countries, has highlighted , its crafts, its gastronomy, its culture, its heritage and its tourist attractions

Pavilion of Haiti :

Monday, March 28, a press conference was held by the ministerial delegation on Haiti's participation in the 2020 Dubai World Expo. Minister of Culture Emmelie Prophet-Milcé, during this press conference.

The Chancellor Généus, Head of the delegation declared for his part that the repercussions will be positive for Haiti, affirming that partnership agreements will be signed in various fields such as tourism, technical assistance at the level of the airport and in the free zones, announcing that the Government was studying the possibility of having a diplomatic representation in Dubai.
