Haiti - FLASH : Caribe Tours, Metro Tours and Capital Coach suspend their operations to Haiti

Caribe Tours, has decided for the safety of its passengers to suspend its operations to and from Haiti due to insecurity in the neighboring country where a Metro Tours bus was hijacked on Sunday May 8 with its passengers "Caribe Tours has suspended its trips to Haiti at the moment [...] we have held a meeting with the National Directorate of Investigations which is trying to obtain the security of the Haitian Police," declared Friday May 13 Paúl Guerrero the Executive Vice-President of this company, affirming that talks are underway between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, in which the Dominican Embassy in Haiti and the Diplomatic Mission of Haiti in Santo Domingo also participate.
