Monday evening, March 20, 2023 at the Karibe Hotel, Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry, participated to the celebration of the International Day of La Francophonie and the closing of the fifteen activities.

This year, the International Day of La Francophonie celebrates Francophone cultural creation, its diversity, and through this diversity, it promotes the culture of Francophone peoples around the theme "321 million Francophones, billions of cultural content".

During this fortnight, many activities were organized by the various partner institutions of La Francophonie, some of which will continue throughout the month of March.

The Republic of Haiti can be proud of its singular contribution to the diplomatic Francophonie, for having been at the origin of the registration of the French language as one of the six official languages of the United Nations [...]

I warmly congratulate the talents of my country : writers, authors, playwrights, poet storytellers, lyricist musicians, educators, professors... You are the continual and continuous creators of a linguistic and cultural humanism shared throughout the world […]
