Haiti - FLASH : Warrants to bring against Jude Célestin, former DG of the National Equipment Center and the current DG

Jude Célestin, former Director General of the National Equipment Center (CNE) and former candidate for the Presidency (2010 - 2016) and Kineton Louis, the current director of the CNE, are under an arrest warrant to bring issued by the investigating judge near the civil court of Port-au-Prince, Al Duniel Sunday, for not having shown up to the previous invitations.

Jude Célestion according to the warrant issued by Judge Dimanche is accused of complicity in embezzlement of public property while the current Director General of CEN, he is accused of complicity in corruption and usurpation of office.

"It is requested and ordered to all bailiffs and agents of the Public Force, upon this request, to put this mandate into execution before the Government Commissioners at the Courts of First Instance, and to hold their hands there. Likewise, all commanders and officers of the Public Force are required to lend a hand when legally required," specifies the mandates.

Let's remember that these mandates follow investigation reports from the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) transmitted to the courts, following a set of information relayed within the company, concerning abusive use for purposes privately owned heavy machinery belonging to the State.

Reacting to this mandate, Jude Célestin claims to have never received an invitation from judge Dimanche, emphasizing that he has a fixed and known address and says he is ready to answer the magistrate's questions.
