Haiti - Politic : The CPT chaired a meeting to launch a major impact study

Friday May 31, 2024, the CPT chaired the launch meeting of the "Impact study of the political, security and humanitarian crisis".

This meeting was held in the presence of Michel Patrick Boivert, resigning Minister of Economy and Finance and outgoing Prime Minister a.i. and the Operations Manager of the World Bank in Haiti.

Member institutions of the Tripartite Partnership, notably the United Nations System, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the European Union were also represented.

Discussions focused on current challenges and potential solutions to improve the political, security and humanitarian situation in Haiti.

CPT members shared their understanding while presenting perspectives on this crucial study.
