Haiti - Politic : International Day of Children Victims of Violence, speech by Emmanuel Vertilaire (CPT - Video)

Tuesday June 4th, 2024 Emmanuel Vertilaire (Representative of the "Piti Dessalin" Party), executive member of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) and Frinel Joseph (observer member at the CPT) participated in the official launch of the second phase of the promotion and valorization project of female leadership and the commemoration of the International Day of Children Victims of Violence.

This ceremony took place in the presence of various personalities including the Director of Citizen Protection, the Deputy Representative of UN-Women, the Representative of the Embassy of Taiwan, the Representative of the Institute of Social Welfare and of Research (IBESR), the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences of Port-au-Prince and several other institutional actors fighting against violence against children.

In his speech for the occasion, Emmanuel Vetilaire declared that the Presidential Council was working to promote the role of women in building the country and fight against violence against children in society.
