The Senator of North Kély Bastien, reacted yesterday to the speech of President Martelly https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-4326-haiti-politic-michel-martelly-speaks-to-the-nation.html encouraging the dialogue and the gathering, describing it of "gesture of appeasement" that can create the conditions necessary for a national debate on the problems the country is facing.

Still according to the Senator Bastien many sectors of the national life getting tired of the case Arnel Bélizaire, which is omnipresent and that focuses public opinion for a month.

Kély Bastien wishes that a solution be found to this case, it must be able to strengthen the cohesion between members of both chambers. Stressing that the two chambers represent the same power, and that they must speak with one voice, by keeping their autonomy.

However, this same Senator, about the report of the Commission presented to the Senate on Tuesday, had estimated that the Commission had not sufficiently thorough its recommendations, given the seriousness of the charges, he had lamented that the senators were unable to hold their position relatively to the resolution voted by the deputies, who demanded among others, the resignations of Ministers of Justice and Interior.
