Haiti - Politic : Strategic meeting between the PM and the Diplomatic Corps

On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé held an important meeting with representatives of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Haiti.

This meeting helped strengthen the dialogue between the Transitional Government and its international partners around national priorities. The Prime Minister outlined the main areas of his government action, with a focus on security, the management of humanitarian and economic crises, as well as the preparation of free and inclusive elections.

Alix Didier Fils-Aimé stressed the importance of the support of the international community to meet these challenges and restore a climate of trust and stability.

Priorities discussed :

- Strengthening security and the capacities of law enforcement;

- Economic recovery through sustainable development initiatives;

- The organization of credible and inclusive elections;

- Constitutional reform and respect for the rule of law.

International partners reiterated their commitment to support Haiti in the implementation of these strategic priorities, for a successful transition, for the benefit of the Haitian people.
