Haiti - Social : Wishes of HaitiLibre (2025)

In this dark and sad end of the year that was dominated by insecurity and bloody massacres committed by men who had returned to the wild;

A year where nearly 6 million of our brothers and sisters experienced hunger and for whom Christmas will not be a celebration but one more day to survive...

A year of terror where nearly 800,000 of our compatriots lost everything, fleeing the madness of men, leaving behind the hard-won possessions of a life.

For the thousands of dead, wounded; for the kidnapped; the women and girls raped and for all those who have lost family members, loved ones, friends, neighbors this year, let's pray in silence that this nightmare will end with the new year.

Let"s keep hope and faith in better tomorrows to move forward in the light on the path to the rebirth of our beloved Haiti.

The entire HaitiLibre team wishes all its readers in Haiti, the diaspora and around the world, its best wishes for the new year: safety, health, courage, work, patience, tolerance and love.
