Pédrica Saint-Jean, the Minister for the Status of Women, accompanied by Marie Denise Claude, her Chief of Staff, Sandy François, Director General of the Ministry, and several senior executives, conducted an assessment visit to the Ministry's central office on Avenue Magny (Champ-de-Mars).

The Minister toured the facilities to learn about the state of each Directorate/Unit in particular and to get an idea of ​​the overall situation.

During this visit, she did not hide her joy at meeting the middle managers and support staff who play an important role in the smooth running of the Ministry.

During these discussions with the staff, Minister Saint-Jean said she took good note of the situation, which she believes is not conducive to the smooth running of the Ministry. Consequently, she plans to do everything possible to rehabilitate the physical space and promote better working conditions in order to obtain better results.

To this end, the Minister invited the entire team to join her in making the Ministry an institution that reflects the achievements of the struggle of Haitian women. She placed great emphasis on the collaboration of each Unit and Directorate and each employee to achieve the objectives set.

At the end of this meeting, which clearly reflects her desire to move forward with all employees, the Minister announced surprises for the end-of-year celebrations and promised to continue the dialogue at the beginning of 2025.

Let's recall that Minister Pédrica Saint-Jean already held a meeting immediately after her installation last November, with all the Directors and Coordinators of the various Directorates and Units within the institution, not only with the idea of ​​getting to know them better but also with a view to having a precise idea of ​​the administrative situation of each entity.
