On Sunday, January 19, 2025, the Land Border Police (PoliFRONT) in Ouanaminthe arrested John Michel (39 years old), alias "John Popo" member of a criminal gang, operating on the road to Milot, precisely in the Pont-Blanc area. John Michel is also the number 2 of the Cadush gang.

Jacmel : Strengthening security

On Sunday, January 19, 2025, several specialized units of the National Police such as: SWAT, the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), the Temporary Anti-Gang Unit (UTAG) and the Heavy Equipment Unit of the National Police of Haiti continued a series of interventions in downtown Port-au-Prince, more precisely on Rue de la Réunion, Rue des Casernes, and Rue du Magasin de l’État. As part of this intervention, law enforcement removed barricades and traps placed by gangs to prevent law enforcement from entering the areas.
