Haiti - FLASH : Launch of the Command, Control, Communication and Intelligence (C3I) Center

The Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) reaffirms its commitment to international assistance and celebrates the launch of the Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) Center in Port-au-Prince.

As part of efforts to restore the security conditions necessary for economic, political, and social development in Haiti, Mexico collaborated on this technical and scientific project aimed at strengthening the country's security communications and intelligence capabilities.

It should be noted that in January 2024, as part of the collaborative project to strengthen the capacities of the Haitian National Police (PNH), Haitian security authorities received technical training in Mexico at the Command, Control, Informatics, Communications, and Citizen Contact Center in Mexico City (C2 Center, C2 Historic Center, C2 North, and C5). Thanks to this training, Haiti was recently able to launch its own Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) Center in Port-au-Prince.

This center is designed for tactical decision-making and rapid response to the security crisis facing the country; it aims to strengthen the PNH's surveillance, intervention, and operational control capabilities.

To this end, it benefited from resources from the Common Justice Support Fund, combined with financial contributions from donor countries such as Canada, the United States, and France, and managed by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
