Dom. Rep. Haitian Passport in less than 15 days

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities, has established a mechanism to deliver passports to Haitian nationals living in the Dominican Republic within 15 business days. With this in mind, Haitian Chancellor Jean-Victor Harvel Jean-Baptiste chaired a working meeting on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, with the Haitian Ambassador to Santo Domingo and the Heads of Post of the Consulates of Barahona, Dajabon, Higuey, and Santiago.

Military Academy Project in Haiti

Discussions are underway for the opening of a military academy in Haiti to train personnel for the infantry, navy, coast guard, and air force. The Minister of Culture and Communication, Patrick Delatour, announced the upcoming creation of a joint Franco-Haitian commission aimed at revitalizing bilateral cooperation in this area.

23 billion gourdes for infrastructure work
