Clash in Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite

During the night of Friday to Saturday, July 5, heavily armed men, identified by witnesses as members of Savien's "Gran Grif" gang, attempted to re-enter the town center of Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite. The offensive was repelled by law enforcement in violent exchanges of fire throughout the night, plunging the population into fear, forcing residents to stay indoors.

Ugandan Army Ready to Engage in Haiti

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, a controversial figure and Commander of the Ugandan Land Forces, known for his shocking statements in the media and his political ambitions, declared his readiness to commit the Ugandan army to the Multinational Mission in Haiti. "If the UN or the United States extends us a formal invitation, we are ready to intervene immediately and restore security in Haiti within 30 days."

Lascahobas : 1,649 candidates will retake the final exams
