Haiti - Economy : Strategic partnership between CFI and Business France

The Investment Facilitation Center (CFI-Invest Haiti) has reached a new milestone in the implementation of its Economic Intelligence (EI) program. With technical support from Business France, the institution is entering the third phase of an ambitious training program aimed at operationalizing its economic monitoring system (signals, sectoral, etc...) and managing economic and commercial information related to private investment.

This approach is part of a desire to improve the CFI's competitiveness as a promotion agency by equipping its teams with the analytical and forward-looking tools needed to meet international standards.

In early July, a delegation composed of executives from the Studies and Economic Intelligence Department, Investment Promotion, and Facilitation Operations participated in a four-day immersive session at Business France's headquarters in Paris. This advanced training complemented the first two phases already completed: an online theoretical session (February–March) and the development of an operational action plan last April.

The program included : economic and commercial intelligence, competitive intelligence, sensitive information management, economic influence strategies, artificial intelligence applied to investment promotion, and digital intelligence tools. This skill development was made possible through direct exchanges with experts from Business France's IE unit, who shared their proven expertise in territorial attractiveness and economic diplomacy.

This training represents a strategic lever for strengthening CFI-Invest Haiti's ability to better support investors, anticipate trends, and offer high-value analyses. The resolutely practical teaching approach allowed participants to simulate real-life scenarios, anticipate investment risks, analyze concrete cases, and acquire innovative tools adapted to the Haitian context.

By engaging in this initiative, CFI-Invest Haiti intends to make business intelligence a pillar of its institutional strategy, not only to refine its prospecting tools, but also to strengthen Haiti's resilience in the face of geopolitical and economic uncertainties.

Far from being limited to a simple transfer of skills, this partnership with Business France reflects a clear commitment: to position Haiti as an informed investment destination, capable of understanding, anticipating, and influencing regional and international dynamics.
