This Friday, January 30, 2026, Luckner Mompremier Departmental Director of Education for the North-East (DDE-NE), announced at a press conference to the educational community, the commissioning of three new technological tools : SCAPPED, SIGEEE and an Intelligent Assistance System, designed to improve school governance, strengthen transparency and optimize educational monitoring.

The presentation of these services was followed by a question-and-answer session, where participants expressed their enthusiasm and concerns regarding the integration of these tools into the existing education system. Mompremier assured that training would be put in place to support teachers and school directors in the use of these new technologies.

1) Mobile application of the Access Control, Attendance and Educational Progress System (SCAPPED) :

This mobile version allows reliable control of the presence of educational staff, with or without an Internet connection. It facilitates the collection of data in the field, even in areas with low connectivity and reinforces the effectiveness of administrative and educational monitoring.

2) Intelligent Assistant :

This digital assistant allows the entire educational community (teachers, principals, parents and partners) to contact the DDE-NE remotely, ask questions 24/7 and obtain instant answers. It contributes to bringing educational administration closer to users and improving the quality of public service.

3) New features of SIGEEE :

SIGEEE is a subsystem of the SIGE (Education Management Information System) for the management of Schools, Students and teachers. The SIGE platform is now enriched with new features allowing school directors to monitor teachers and students in real time: management of attendance, consultation of report cards and transcripts, student transfers, and other operations essential to good school governance.
