Canada has already invested $500 million in Haiti

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, the Canadian Ambassador to Haiti, André François Giroux, announced that Canada has invested over $500 million Canadian in Haiti in humanitarian and security-building programs. National Environmental Priorities

Cooperation : Haiti / Colombia

Raina Forbin, the new Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Vilma Velásquez, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to Haiti. The discussions focused on concrete areas of cooperation, including vocational training, security, agriculture, cultural and economic exchanges, and strengthening connectivity between the two countries.
