Haiti health : A first batch of about one hundred nomination letters already available

A decisive step has just been taken in the process of strengthening the healthcare system in the Nippes department. The availability of the first batch of appointment letters is a strong signal of the authorities' commitment to sustainably improving healthcare services for the benefit of the population.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé and Dr. Sinal Bertrand, Minister of Public Health, this appointment process is part of a clear vision to equip the country's healthcare institutions, and particularly those in Nippes, with qualified and competent human resources.

In the department, this progress is also driven by the leadership of Dr. Esther Ceus Dumont, Director of the Nippes Health Directorate (DSNI), whose sustained efforts ensured the preparation, transmission, and rigorous monitoring of the files at the central level.

To date, approximately one hundred appointment letters are already available. This first batch concerns various categories of personnel essential to the proper functioning of the healthcare system, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, as well as administrative and support staff.

It is important to emphasize that this first batch represents only the initial phase of a broader process. The other applications submitted by the department are currently in advanced stages of processing at the central level, and their finalization is expected as soon as possible.

Furthermore, particular attention is being paid to the applications of the 40 nurses who passed the competitive examination. This strategic group, whose integration is considered a priority by both the National Directorate of Nursing and Information (DSNI ) and the Ministry, should receive their appointment letters very soon. Their arrival will significantly contribute to meeting the urgent nursing staff needs in several healthcare facilities in the department.

Given the legitimate expectations surrounding this process, the DSNI urges all those involved to remain calm and confident. All necessary measures have been taken at the departmental level to ensure fair and thorough processing of applications, and the results continue to be released gradually.

This first batch of appointments marks the beginning of a promising dynamic. It confirms that Nippes is moving towards a stronger, more organized, and better-equipped healthcare system to meet the needs of its population.
