Preparations for the parade on the occasion of Flag Day in Cap-Haitien

As part of the preparations for the Flag Day parade [May 18], the Cap-Haitien Municipal Administration informs all residents that, starting the week of May 11, 2026, major repair work will begin on Street Espagnole (also known as Street L), from Street 2 L to Street 22 L.

This work will be carried out by the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA) as part of its efforts to improve infrastructure and services in the area.

To ensure the smooth progress of the work, the City Hall requests that all affected individuals clear the sidewalks and public spaces in this area.

To ensure the progress of the work, the City Hall specifically requests that no vehicles be parked on the road during the evenings of May 13 and 14, 2026.

The Municipal Administration also asks residents to refrain from littering in the area to allow the work to proceed normally.

The cooperation of every citizen is essential to facilitate the progress of the construction and help the technical teams work without difficulty.

The Municipal Administration thanks the public in advance for their understanding, civic responsibility, and cooperation.
