The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) reveals that since the beginning of 2026, gang violence has resulted in at least 2,310 deaths, more than 1,100 injuries, 99 abductions, and at least 699 women and girls being victims of sexual violence, while hundreds of minors continue to be recruited by gangs.

PNH deliberately destroys a broken-down armored vehicle
