This campaign aims to facilitate the regularization of policyholders who have accumulated years of arrears. Owners of cars, all-terrain vehicles, and trucks with four or more years of arrears will have to pay for two years to benefit from renewal. Support for Women's Financial Empowerment The project to support the financial empowerment of women in Bas Cap-Rouge, in the municipality of Jacmel, led by the Association of Technicians for the Promotion of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the Southeast (ATEPASE), received funding from the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). This project has significantly improved the daily lives of 132 women. Thanks to training in various fields, including marketing, sales, mutual aid, vegetable production, and poultry farming, they have been able to launch small businesses and achieve a degree of financial independence. For example, 30 women received 1,600 chickens, and 72 women received seedlings and seeds, which will continue to produce quality young plants. These economic activities will strengthen local food security and self-reliance. Canadian funding for ATEPASE has enabled these women to generate their own income independently.
