More than 2,000 new police officers and 1,700 soldiers in training

In 2026, under the government of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, more than 2,000 police officers were trained this year, and 1,200 are currently in training as part of the P4000 program. 339 new soldiers joined the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H) this year (April 2026), and 1,770 applicants and aspiring soldiers are currently in training or about to begin their integration.

FHF : Training of qualified player agents

On Friday, June 26, 2006, the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) announced the upcoming organization of a training seminar to create the first national cohort of qualified player agents in Haiti. This seminar aims to comply with FIFA regulations, specifically Article 3 of the new framework governing the activities of player agents worldwide. The objective is to contribute to a better structure of national football by offering future agents training adapted to international standards. This will allow Haitian players to be supported by competent professionals capable of providing administrative, legal, and sporting guidance that meets the standards required by FIFA and its affiliated federations. The official date of the seminar and participation requirements will be announced later.

IOM Assisted More Than 20,000 Households on May

In May, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with authorities and local partners, provided assistance to more than 20,000 households across 60 displacement sites in Haiti. This aid included the coordination and management of camps, as well as access to drinking water, healthcare, psychosocial support, and the distribution of essential items. These efforts aim to support families who have lost everything while fleeing armed violence.

PNH : 27 Officers Trained in Security for Major Events

On Friday, June 26, 2026, a graduation ceremony was held at the National Police Academy (ANP) for 27 officers of the Haitian National Police (PNH). They completed a series of training courses on securing major events and electoral processes, delivered by instructors from the French Republican Security Company (CRS), under the supervision of French Inspector General Grégory-Hughes Frely. During the ceremony, Antoine Michon, the French Ambassador to Haiti, reaffirmed France's commitment to supporting the Haitian National Police (PNH) in strengthening its operational capabilities. Vladimir Paraison was also awarded a medal for his service to the PNH. Chief Inspector General Frédéric Leconte accepted the award on his behalf.

National Investment Forum

Business associations in the Haitian private sector, including the Franco-Haitian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CFHCI), will organize a national investment forum in Pétion-Ville on June 29, 2026, focusing on the potential for implementing the European Union's Global Gateway strategy in Haiti and developing a mutually beneficial public-private partnership (PPP).

Northeast : 9th AF State Exams - 8,251 Candidates Registered

According to Gesly Joseph, coordinator of the National Bureau of State Examinations (BUNEXE) for the Northeast, a total of 8,251 candidates have registered to take the 9th AF State exams. Fourteen examination rooms have been set up to accommodate these candidates. The exams will take place in 35 examination centers distributed throughout the Northeast department to facilitate access for all students.
