Haiti - Politic : The Ministry of the Interior and the IDB, spoke of financing of the decentralization

Me Thierry Mayard-Paul, the Minister of Interior, of Territorial Collectivities met Monday, April 2, Eduardo Marques Almeida, President of the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) to explore the possibilities of rapprochement between the IDB and the Ministry of the Interior in order to take the leadership of governmental development hubs developed in consultation with international bodies.

Me Mayard Paul has indicated that obtaining of the IDB the necessary funding for the payment of experts on decentralization and Territorial Collectivities, is essential for the Ministry he heads. Therefore, he invited the President of the IDB to be closer of the objectives of his institution, in order to contribute fully in the process of sustainable development advocated by the administration Martelly since he took office.
