Haiti - Reconstruction : Strengthening of commercial trade between the Miami-Dade County and Haiti

Carlos Gimenez, the Mayor of Miami-Dade accompanied by the County Commissioner Jean Monestime [first Haitian-American elected to the County Commission], is in Haiti for 48 hours, in order to strengthen exchanges and trade between the Miami-Dade County and Haiti.

During his stay, the Mayor will meet with representatives of the Embassy of the United States, the Ministries of Planning and Foreign Affairs.
