Haiti - Politic : Inauguration of Boulevard Toussaint Louverture

Sunday in Ennery (Artibonite Department), the President Michel Martelly, accompanied by the First Lady, Sophia Martelly, Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, of Jean-Michel Auguste, Departmental Delegate of Artibonite, of the Deputy of the constituency of Cholzer Chancy, of Commissioner Marc André Cadostin, Departmental Director of the National Police of Haiti, of Mayor Alexis Ivens and many other personalities of the department, went on the site of the former habitation of Toussaint Louverture where he 'meditated', before the statue of the precursor of Independence, he laid a wreath of flowers at the foot of the statue, in this 210th anniversary of the death of Toussaint Louverture.

The President Martelly then proceeded to the inauguration of the boulevard "Toussaint Louverture", a road infrastructure of 2.5 km long, which constitutes according to the Presidency, a legitimate response to the demands of the population and an important step in the process of decentralization and social and economic development of the municipality.
