Haiti - Economy : Important Haitian trade mission to Canada

The Haitian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCCI) [founded in 2004], will lead a trade mission to Canada to which will participation over 40 representatives from the public sector and Haitian businesses wishing to explore business opportunities and partnerships.

The Delegation of the HCCCI will be in Montreal, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario from November 19 to 23 in order to deepen the multidimensional trade relations between Canada and Haiti "While sustained efforts are made ​​by both the public and private sector to attract foreign investment in Haiti, this mission wants to be a visibility campaign and of promotion positive of Haiti in Canada," said Nathalie Pierre-Louis Laroche, President of HCCCI.

Government officials will present at the Canadian private sector the competitive advantages of Haiti as an investment destination, as companies participating in the trade mission will highlight the strengths and capacities of Haitian companies in a variety of sectors.

During their visit to Canada, members of the delegation will participate in several networking meetings, information sessions and a special one-day program organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal (CCMM).
