Saturday 2 and Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the Union School Juvénat (Petion-ville) from 10:00 a.m. will be held the first edition of the Craft Fair Spring "AKANSYÈL" an initiative of Maëlle Créations, Options Marketing and Femmes Autonomes.

This craft fair will bring together over sixty companies, artisan communities and / or designers which will come expose to visitors their creations in various sectors including: clothing (clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags...) Aromatherapy (cosmetics, soap, skin milk...) Interior decoration (paintings, sculpture, plants, decorative pillows and utilitarian crafts...) and Agri-busineess (local drinks, jams / jellies, local dishes made on site...) This event aims to promote the Haitian crafts, facilitate direct sales, exchanges and networking.

During these two days the organizers promise demonstration workshops, conferences including on entrepreneurship of craft trades, in addition some artisans will work directly front the public and answer questions from the thousands of visitors who are expected.

To give the fair a festive aspect, besides a exhibition-sale, there will be a fashion show (Saturday afternoon) and an area for children and youth with workshops.

Admission to the Craft Fair Spring AKANSYÈL is 100 gourdes.
