Laying of flowers at the monument of Dessalines

On Monday, the de facto President, Jocelerme Privert, accompanied by members of the Government, went to Pont-Rouge where he laid a wreath at the monument erected in memory of the Emperor Jean-Jacques Dessalines at Pont Rouge assassinated October 17, 1806, a minute of silence was also observed.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Haiti and the municipality of Grand-Goâve have signed a partnership agreement for a quick recovery after the passage of Matthew.
