Haiti - EDH NOTICE: Two trucks damaged a 69,000-volt power line

The Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs the population in general and its customers in particular that on Tuesday two trucks carrying 40-foot containers struck and broke one of the poles carrying the 69 kV line (69,000 volts) linking the EPOWER Central to the EDH grid.

This accident occurred on the national road # 1 (Drouillard locality in front of the Aciérie d'Haiti), caused a general breakdown of 9:40 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

EDH teams are currently working to restore the damaged line and gradually and the progressive re-supplying of the various circuits. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
